Hello, I’m Eric

I’m a multimedia producer by trade, and a photographer…also by trade.

Photography has been my jam for over 15 years. I started out predominately with wildlife and landscape photography, with commercial and real estate photography and film to follow. However, as I began to do more portraiture and events, I quickly became hooked when I learned I was able to capture and provide the same story-telling concepts from my nature and commercial assignments to people’s special moments and celebrations.

Eric Haugen Photography is a way for me to creatively explore life through visual storytelling with the added bonus of meeting some really awesome and inspiring people!

Being a part of someone’s special day is an honor and I enjoy being able to tell their unique story through my photos that they can continuously look back in 10, 20, even 30+ years. I love providing my goofy, down to earth personality with my clients, and making them feel relaxed and assured so that I can capture their amazing personalities and not their “what do I do with my hands?” face.

I am based in the Minneapolis/St Paul area, but I am also happy to travel to your destination.
